Your hosts, Richard & Wendy Henderson, provide a warm, friendly atmosphere and all the facilities you need. All you have to do is relax. We hope that our willingness to assist you during your stay will add to the pleasure of your visit to the wonderful city of Rotorua, and influence you to return again and again.

Pohutu Lodge is named after the famous Pohutu Geyser, an awesome, natural fountain of explosive boiling water, only a few hundred metres away, within one of the most popular tourist attractions of Rotorua and indeed New Zealand - the Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley.

Pohutu Lodge is nestled in a quiet location at the southern end of Rotorua City. Rotorua is famous for its unique thermal activity, picturesque lakes and central location.
Sandy beaches, rich native forests or snowcapped mountains are all within a few hours travel.
